The History of Hennighan's.

My parents started Hennighan's Top Shop in June 1982 by converting an old corner shop into a chip shop.

I managed the business until their retirement in 1998, at which point I took over ownership. The shop was completely refurbished throughout, with brand new state-of-the-art stainless steel kitchen fittings and our own personal style of decor.

Since this time we have won several awards, business has been excellent and we are now in the UK’S top 10 chip shops.

After 23 years in the job I still have the enthusiasm now that I had when we first started, and I hope that my own children share the same desire.
My wife and I are both heavily involved in the busines with Eleanor doing the lunchtime shift and myself the night shift and the preparation in the morning.
